Don’t Let the Pandemic Panic Pummel You – Bolster Up Your Health the Cayce Way

The news would have us believe we are powerless against covid-19. Yes, the coronavirus virus effects can be severe, especially if the immune system is compromised. However, the ability of a micro-organism to set up shop within us is largely dependent on our state of health. The Cayce Readings are filled with gems that can bolster your health now.
During an NPR interview, a scientist who makes viral vaccines stated that to render viruses (including SARS-CoV-2) harmless, they expose it to Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and UV light (sun light). Though the Cayce Readings emphasized getting our vitamins and minerals primarily from good quality food, supplementation was also recommended. The number one supplement recommended in the Readings was a B-complex. Vitamins A and D were also recommended in over 100 Readings. Multi-vitamins were occasionally mentioned.
The Readings continuously tell us that our best source of vitamins and minerals comes from the food we eat. However, in light of present-day challenges, it is a good idea to take a daily multivitamin that has 100% or more of all the essential vitamins. Zinc is another mineral that we are notoriously low on and is also vital for our immune response. Usually a good multi has it covered but check to make sure.

There are usually multiple factors that come into play when a person becomes ill. The Readings frequently mention imbalances within the nervous system, circulation, digestion, and the body’s fluid pH balance which were brought on by various physical and mental stressors. The Cayce recommendations/treatments center on restoring balance and maintaining sound health bolstering practices.
Here are a few other Cayce and science-based gems that I share with my friends and patients:
- Five (5) minutes of deep breathing in front of an open window – preferably without a mask (we need fresh air versus just recycled air air).
- Keep Moving – stretch and walk in the open air – 10,000 steps from 8-10 am and/or 4-6 pm.
- Eat according to the Cayce ‘Alkalizing’ Diet to supply energy and support your body’s natural pH balance.
- Drink 6-8 glasses of water (or half your body weight in fluid ounces) – flush out the toxins (put 2-3 drops of Glycothymoline in your first glass of water for the day).
- Osteopathic manipulations or chiropractic adjustments will coordinate the nervous system.
- Restful sleep (7-9 hours every night) – lack of sleep crashes your immune system.
- Sanitize your nose, sinuses, throat, and lungs with the Cayce inhalant morning and evening (A product such as Inspirol from Baar Products)
- Pray and meditate to counter fear and mental stress.
- Share 3 positive thoughts with a friend or pet – bless those masked folks whoever they are.
